Symptoms of Thyroid

A few of the Symptoms of Thyroid Disfunction:

  1. Cold feet, hands and tip of the nose
  2. Gain weight easily (your weight is controlled by your thyroid)
  3. Lethargic, Tiredness, Sluggishness
  4. Poor memory, depression, mood changes, difficulty with math, bump into things, like door jambs, tables etc.
  5. Constipation
  6. Outer third of eyebrows thin
  7. Shakiness
  8. Rapid or Irregular or Skipping of heartbeat (your thyroid controls your heartbeat)
  9. Insomnia
  10. Low sex drive / Impotence

Long term consequences of under-treated, mistreated, not treated Thyroid:

  1. Cardiovascular risk with all the complications like stroke, heart attack etc.
  2. Diabetes risk, obesity, high triglycerides and HDL.
  3. Arthritis and inflammation including Autoimmune, and digestive disorders.
  4. Neuro-Psychological risk i.e. Parkinson’s, anxiety, depression, double Alzheimer’s risk.
  5. Pregnancy Complications, difficult to get pregnant, to carry to full term, miscarriage.
